Katherine & Zach { McLeod Plantation Wedding }

With shady live oaks and a quiet atmosphere on the banks of the Ashley River, a McLeod Plantation wedding is one of splendor and endless southern charm. For Katherine and Zach, the setting couldn’t have been more perfect and their day was simply stunning! Katherine was absolutely breathtaking in her a-line gown with lace adorned bodice paired beautifully by metallic ballet flats. Her look was that of soft elegance which fit the day’s charm perfectly. Down below on the avenue of oaks, Zach waited patiently for the ceremony to start. He was quite handsome in his blue suit and bow tie.

With the oaks stretching out behind them, it was the perfect backdrop for Katherine and Zach to become newlyweds. The outdoors created a deeply southern atmosphere for the guests gathered beneath the hanging Spanish moss. We simply ADORE the sweet flower girls and their flower crowns. Their dresses are so poufy and cute! All eyes were on Katherine though, as she made her way to Zach with a smile on her face. In front of their closest loved ones, two exchanged their vows and swore to love one another forever. A sweet kiss and it was all over, they were husband and wife and it was certainly time to party!

During their sunset portraits, the couple smiled and laughed together, making new memories that will last a lifetime. The newlyweds joined their guests at the reception. The family styled tables beneath cafe lighting created an enchanting atmosphere for the evening’s festivities. They danced and celebrated with their family and friends long into the night before setting out together in search of a new adventure.
